Dressupdolly's July Favorites - Birthday gifts and treats

Cotton On, Charlie Apparel, Baths and Body works, Cute Dresses, Tops
Forever 21, Cotton on, Sporty, Athletic, Sandals, Cute Dress, Floral Dress

I just spent my 18th birthday last July 26th. It was a simple yet a very memorable celebration for me. My friends and classmates surprised me with a cake and a bunch of 18 roses that day. Plus, my crush was on the surprise as well. (I hope he is not reading this because it would be really embarrassing) It was a very good week. So much happenings that made me realized that I am loved by many people.

On July 27th, I celebrated my debut with my friends. We went to Gerry's Grill and Padis Point. My lola and friends gave me gifts that night (First photo above, Thanks Ital and Jackie!). Good music, good food, good drinks, and good company was one of the highlights of the night. I bought my instax mini with me, so if ever you were following me on Instagram then you probably saw some shots I took with my instax.

After the celebration, I had another late-shopping for myself at F21 and Cotton on. It was a good treat because F21 was on a sale that time, talk about major steals. (Second photo)

So, who wouldn't make their birthdays as their favorite, right? So many good things arrive when it is someone's birthday. I hope you guys like this very late post of mine. Haha! See you!

My First Visit at Uniqlo

Uniqlo Philippines

Uniqlo Philippines

For those who have been stalking following me on Instagram, you might probably know that recently I visited the newly opened branch of Uniqlo at SM Fairview. Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. (Wikipedia)

Starting with the ambiance of the store, everything looks so organized and so many stuff to look at. But after a few minutes, I already know where is what in the store. Uniqlo offers a variety of clothes starting from children, men, and women clothes. What I observed was that the designs of their clothes are mainly about the comfort of the customers. Basics, house clothes, and some casuals are what Uniqlo offers. For those seeking basic must-haves then go to Uniqlo. For the price, the range is 190 php-1,990 php (Well, that is an estimated range for me). Their jeans are cool too but I didn't buy one since the weather of my country is not jeans-appropriate right now. Instead, I bought a cute floral shorts which I will be blogging about soon.

Let's Celebrate, We are Free!

This is a little bit late but these photos were taken last June 12, 2013, the Independence day of the Philippines. My friends and I decided to chill a little bit since it is a holiday, meaning no classes! But also because of our little joke saying that we need to celebrate because we are one of those independent girls meaning single ladies. So we cooked some spaghetti and watched Sinister. I don't usually watch horror movies. I just got curious with this movie so I watched it. And to be honest, it's not that interesting at all but it made me scream a little bit.

Moving on with this outfit post. I guess you can see that my friends are fashionable too. I don't see them this dressed because we were always in our school uniform.

Shorts and belt: Pazzo Jeans
Shoes: Parisian

Clothes must be proportional to each other, so if one must be short then the other should be long and vice versa. In this outfit, I wore a tank top and a short. I guess I never really follow these rules in fashion as long as my outfit looks good on me and I feel comfortable. But sometimes it is good to keep these rules in mind when choosing what to wear.

See you guys on my next post!

BBB: Big Better Burgers

Even thought I went to BBB a countless times before, I can't seem to get over of their food. Their juicy burgers and delicious fries keeps me coming back for more! But this time to taste something different I ordered some of their pasta.
The BBB meatballs in fresh tomato isn't too sweet just like the ordinary spaghetti we buy from other food chains or restaurant. You can really taste the tomato in it.
And here is my favorite fries (skin on). While writing this, I am craving for these fries. Imagining the fries being dipped from the ketchup. Okay. Enough hallucinating. Lol.
It looks like a Krabby Patty isn't it? Haha!
The Great Italian Burger from BBB is made from pork. What makes it different from their other burgers is that, the bread is pale white and the burger is made from pork. It does taste different though than the beef ones but it is yummy and juicy too since that is what BBB promised for their customers.
Hope you enjoyed my post! I hope I did make it up to you readers since it took so many days before I post a new one and definitely will take many days before I post again due to school works. But I'm hoping that you guys will still be there for my next post :)

Last day of my sembreak

After the mass, my family and I head out to SM Fairview to eat lunch. We went to Karate Kid which offers Japanese food. I so love Japanese food, as to why, I don't know either. Here are some pictures I took a while ago. (I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the food of daddy's and tito's since they look so hungry already. Haha!)

After eating we decided to walk around the mall and do some window shopping. Yea, cause I'm broke. Lol. Then I feel like I want to eat some dessert so I went to J.Co Donuts. It's the hottest donuts in town! Everyone's getting crazy for these donuts and I wouldn't miss a chance to have a taste of it. When I got to the place, there were so many people. The line for the customers is already outside. It didn't took so long for me to order. I didn't order a dozen since I only want to taste if it's good.

And... It was great! I didn't have any regrets buying it. I love the white chocolate and nuts on it but the bread isn't so stuffy like the one's in Krispy Kreme. But all in all it was really good. The founder of J.Co donuts didn't kid when they named the J.Club Cheezy Rich because well, it was so cheesy! There were so many bits of cheese on it. But I'm not a fan of cheese so it's just good for me.

Tomorrow will be the resume of classes here in Manila. Ugh, I didn't feel my sembreak at all! Next time I'll really save up so that I can go out. I hate being broke -_- (No. 1 enemy and friend of a college student, Money)

Till then!

Love,
Jannine
